Let’s not beat around the bush here. This Chardonnay continues to excite year after year. The nose is so expressive, not with oak, but rather well-balanced earthy and mineral fruit. It’s almost hard to put into words.

The palate is the same with a grip around the edges and the slightest hint of something savory all the way in the background that adds to the complexity of the wine. This is not the oak-forward Chardonnay California is used to. If there is any oak it has slipped into the wine and become another layer of its incredible depth.
