To help extend the life of your icepacks, we use Biofoam, which consists of a cardboard box, a DuraThurm insert, and ice packs. DuraTherm is 100% recyclable and, if not recycled, formulated to break down more quickly in biologically active landfills than other polystyrene foam.
The advanced EPS used in DuraTherm packaging biodegrades 92% over four years. This technology allows landfill microorganisms to break down the material into organic matter, water, and carbon dioxide, which can be safely and naturally assimilated into the environment.
